Twin Cities PBS invited me to prepare and present a webinar on probate, titled “My Friends Say To Avoid Probate! So What Is Probate Anyway?”
I chose the title because this is something I hear in my office probably once or twice a week. However, many of my past clients have revealed to me that they actually do not possess a great deal of knowledge or understanding of the probate system.
The webinar covers what it means to go through probate. This is helpful information for the average consumer because it enables you to make better decisions and understand what this process is, either if you’re going through it now, or if you’re thinking about what someone might have to deal with in the future as you put your own estate plan together.
