The purpose of end-of-life plans is to help our loved ones when we are gone. When someone dies and there are no plans or information available, their family and loved ones often have to deal with chaos and frustration. Many institutions will not provide information or assistance without official documents from you, and this can make the grieving process much harder.
On the other hand–if you provide your family with plans, information, and access, the entire estate administration and grieving process tends to be much smoother. It provides a huge relief for family and friends.
