Rosemary Gin Fizz

A refreshing herb drink to enjoy with friends in the last month of summer.

Please note: you can easily substitute in a zero-proof gin to enjoy the taste and avoid alcohol.

Ingredients:

  • Water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Rosemary sprigs (2 plus as many cocktails as you are making)
  • Gin (optional: substitute zero-proof gin)
  • Egg whites (1 egg per 2 cocktails); or substitute with pasteurized egg whites (like “Egg Beaters”) if you prefer a pasteurized product
  • Fresh lemon juice (2oz per 2 cocktails)
  • Ice

    • 2 sprigs rosemary

B. Bring simple syrup ingredients to low boil for 3-5 minutes.

C. Allow to cool.

Step 2: Make Cocktails (makes 2)

    • 4 oz gin (spirit-free gin works great here)
